Our Story: Compassion by Design (CBD) is the nonprofit arm of Purpose by Design, Meetings and Events, LLC, dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals through education, advocacy, and community support. Born out of a deeply personal journey through the challenges of elder care, CBD was created to address the isolation, emotional strain, and lack of resources experienced by family caregivers. As we work toward our 501(c)(3) designation, our mission is to empower those on the front lines of aging—both at home and in professional care settings.

Through specialized training programs, impactful events like the Golden Years Summit, and the development of accessible digital resources, we will equip caregivers and healthcare workers with the tools, knowledge, and support they need. We also recognize the systemic challenges faced by hospital and nursing home staff—many of whom are overworked and under-supported. Our advocacy and collaborative initiatives aim to foster empathy in the workplace, improve patient outcomes, and promote a culture of care that honors the dignity and well-being of our aging population.
