Welcome to Compassion by Design, Inc. (CBD) a newly launched Maryland-registered nonprofit (nonstock) corporation and the nonprofit arm of Purpose by Design, Meetings and Events, LLC. CBD is being established to transform the caregiving experience through empathy-driven education, advocacy, and practical support.

Building on Purpose by Design’s commitment to creating intentional experiences with unforgettable impact, Compassion by Design is launching programs that uplift and empower family caregivers, profession senior-care workers, healthcare teams, and aging individuals. By pairing nonprofit purpose with the operational expertise and infrastructure of Purpose by Design, CBD is intentionally designing high-quality initiatives that support both individuals and the systems that serve them.

As we grow, Compassion by Design is developing accessible resources, specialized training, and innovative community-based programs—supported by a national network of partners—to reshape how families, providers, and institutes approach senior care.
